I was just wondering. I have a NOA 1 date of 5-23. It says they are processing 5-26. I also see others with dates after mine get their NOA 2 already. If they process these in the order on which they were received, how is this possible? I'm just getting tired of all the waiting. I am a US citizen, born and raised. Where are my rights here? Other people just wander across the border and stay here with no problem. They receive medical attention and other benefits at my expense. All I am asking is to bring the woman I love here and marry her. I feel as if I am under a microscope and suspect of criminal action. Sorry for venting. Every one here has been very kind and I appreciate what you are going through. I just miss my sweety:(

It's ok to vent! I feel the same way - our NOA1 date is May 29th and they approved many ppl after us. Nothing we can do about it, unfortunatelly. I guess just stay patient! It shouldn't be much longer! :star:

I don't want to begin a new topic about processing time so I will put my question here. I read the USCIS employee questions/answers thing, which was very interesting. But, how can you explain that for people (same country, same state office) it will take 4 months between the NO1 and the NOA2, and for other it will take 1 month ? I have some doubts... And like I said country FRANCE, office CALIFORNIA, case SIMPLE.

It is all about available resources, volume, backlog and current petition/application priority.... CSC has never been fast (4 - 6 mos typical)... VSC until recentlly was (previously as fast as 2 weeks...)

YMMV

6 months between the NOA1 & NOA2 ??? I thought that it could takes 1 month (if you are super very lucky) to 4 months (if your good karma is in the restroom)

Yeah, it's not one month between NOA1 and NOA2..Expect at least 4 months. And, I honestly have not had one person on this forum tell me exactly why it takes longer for different applicants. I can buy the 'each case is different' theory to a point, but why would it takes more than 7 months to get my NOA2 and 4 months for someone else -- 3 months is a hell of a long time and I still don't get that......

I can tell you that for some people (i roamed on a french forum on the internet) it takes 1 month between NOA1 & NOA2. And i know that for most of the cases it is between 3 and 4 months to get it. I just wondered how a folder can be on top of the other ones...

A while back at VSC, that was possible but not so much anymore.... Every once in a while you will see a petition for someone in Cuba that goes straight to approval....
