Great! Now I am craving a sandwich. What is it with this site and food lately?

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Hi Everyone,

My answers to this "sandwich poll" are:

1)Diagonal- Because it look nicer and more creative cut that way. Plus cut this way it's more even.

2)No- Because I like eating the crusts (isn't the crusts supposed to be healthy too?). Though if someone else wants it without crusts, I'll cut it off for them.

3)Middle-Because I like "working from the inside out". The best way to do this is to have one slice of bread, fold it in half, eat the middle, and then unfold it. There will be a hole in the middle, kind of like a donut..lol....

Ant (It's lunchtime and I'm craving a sandwich: cut diagonally, with crusts, from the inside out/middle...)

And I thought the reward would be a sandwich once we voted. Your nothing but a sandwich tease! Just like that doughnut poll.

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

for me:

diagonal

no

edges

but for the kiddos, i have a cool cutter that makes shapes of hearts and dinosaurs when cutting the sandwich in half... it removes some, but not all the crust making the shape... my daughter eats it from the edges... my son pulls it apart and eats it like an oreo

middle

no

middle

and i disagree about the diagonal cut being more even, i make my sandwiches even all around, so cutting it down the middle is just as even as cutting it diagonally

and yes, i also want a sandwich now

Am I wrong or is the diagonal cutting technique a US phenomenon

It would be nice to see the down the middle/diagonal issue being polled along geographical spheres

Entry in the USA: May 13 2005
