As far as last five years employment on my G-325A. I am considered self employed as far as my tax returns are concerned as I mostly get 1099'ed, however, sometimes they put me on payroll and take out taxes and give me a W-2. I crew on sportfishing boats in the U.S. and Costa Rica and may be getting on another this winter. My question is does anyone see a problem putting self-employed on the forms from 1995 till present and on each following space put the name of the boat I was on even if only for a few month's. My worry is that these jobs are seasonal and in certain locations and it might go against me by them seeing that some only lasted for 6 month's, therefore, showing I don't keep a job.

Or should I just put self employed fishing crew as my employer and let them look at my tax returns (I've reported everything) and pay stubs /statements when it would be time for my interview and leave it at that. After all, my taxes show self employed.

Maybe I'm just overthinking things.

Thanks again!

Yes, that's what I'd do.
