We're finally approved Sept. 17! Now all there is left to do is the medical exam an interview! Our app was at the NVC for a little over two months, due to some glitches at the NVC.

Just thought I'd post some positive news for a change.

Congrats-

Have heard from a few VJ's who got NOA2's finally from last year - August and September - wow finally they are moving.

Good luck on the rest of your journey! and yes u can schedule your interview without the paperwork from NVC - it will move quickly now and if it left NVC TO THE UK you have a date for that interview - get cracking lol

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

How do you schedule with NVC without paperwork?

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

yikes sorry miswording there - on most applications for I130 they know the interview date when they send to the embassy - yikes just reread - so you can call NVC most the time and get the interview date once it has left their hands to go to the embassy- it was the medical that i was thinking of to schedule also
