Hi guys, i want to ask some of you who went through same process like i did.

i applied for H1b Visa and the consul gave me a 221(g) letter, when i asked him he told me ' i just cant give your visa today, i need to verify this (nso copy birth certificate), go to delbros and pay for fees. no follow ups

so i went to delbros and the delbros assistants told me to pay for pick up (of passports, so if i have news regarding the validity of my BC i could contact them for pick up) and delivery (approved visa)

well its my 3rd week now. and i dont know if i am certain if i am right not paying for the DV under H1b, do you guy know

if applicants under H1B visa need to pay their DVs?

what should i do next?

the call center of US embassy just kept on advising " whatever your consul instructed you to do, do it"

the consul did not give me a time frame as to how long this will take

interview last 8-28-08

H1B visa is not discussed in this forum...

Talk to your HR manager and explain to them the result of your interview. If you noted the consul name, give it to your HR Manager. Your company should verify the delay on your visa.
