I would never send a passport photograph in with a blue background, they require white/off white because it makes it easy to see the outline and detail of the person in the photograph.

I would have them re taken, I dont think they will be accepted otherwise.

For the initial I-129F submission I found USCIS to not be too concerned about passport pic as long as pic is facing forward.

In our case my fiancee gave me one that was 1.5" x 2" and it was OK.

I would send it in and have fiancee get you another "correct" one just in the odd chance of an RFE.

The US Embassy will require a correct one at the time of getting the visa.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Has anyone submitted the pic along with the g325a with a blue background? The place where my girlfreind got her pic taken said it should be a blue background but i read in the guide it should be white or offwhite.. has anyone sent in a blue background with successful results?

i think USEM is strict when it comes to pictures..

and i think they prefer white..

i know lotsa peeps who've had probs with their pictures..

I went with radz when we have photos made while I was visiting in Davao, and we found out the Photos taken for passport photos in PI are blue background so we had some made at the same time with white background. I had read the requirments before I travled there and we filled out the 325a together, so when i got home I put the package together went over it seems like a 1000 times and finally I put in the mail and sent it Off. IM sure i spent over a week going over every detail and worrying about everything. So im not sure what will happen with the blue background I hope it will be ok for you and wish you the best of luck.

Not for I-129F, but I had sent my pics for my N-400 (citizenship). I had them taken at the Walmart. They had a green background. I had not ready the instructions and asked at the Portrait Studio if they do PP/USCIS pics and they said yes. So, I figured they knew what you needed to do. Wrong...

Anyway, my application was not denied/I did not get an RFE (if there is such a thing for the N-400). However, I got a letter a couple of weeks before my interview to bring pics per instructions.

So, for G352A, they will likely ask your non-citizen fiance(e)/spouse at the interview, but for the petitioner, you may need to send them. I would say, get them ready esp for your non-citizen beneficiary as they would need to be physically mailed to you (you can probably get them via email and print it out.. just a thought).

Good luck.
