Soy Colombiano y vine a estudiar a los Estados Unidos hace mas o menos 18 meses. Mi novia es Americana y hemos tomado la decision de casarnos. Yo estoy en una visa de estudiante o F-1 y mis padres y hermana tendran pronto su entrevista en la embajada Americana en Bogota. Me preguntaba que si es apropiado decir en la embajada que el motivo de viaje de mi familia es mi boda?

Creen que seria mejor omitir el hecho de que me voy a casar y mejor que digan que vienen a visitarme y pasear?

De antemano les doy las gracias por sus respuestas y opiniones.

Lo mejor es decir la verdad. De todas maneras con esos cónsules no se sabe si van a aprobar las visas ó no. De todas maneras no creo que su estado migratorio tenga nada que ver con las visas de ellos. Eso sí, deben de tratar de demostrar que tienen suficientes razones para volver a Colombia después de su visita.

Pero si quiere espere a ver qué dicen otros miembros colombianos y qué le pueden sugerir.
