Do you agree with the U.K. game?

  1. 1. Is the U.K. game a good idea?

    • Yes - it brings the NFL to a whole new audience, and makes for an exciting overseas trip.
      5
    • No - it robs the hometown fans (especially season ticket holders) of a home game, and there's no way I'm going to England just to watch it.

    • Undecided - ask me in a few years.

This is a contentious issue for NFL fans stateside, I know, but being an avid Brit NFL fan, I think it's a brilliant idea. I was at last year's Dolphins/Giants game, and I already have my tickets for this year's Saints/Chargers game.

But what do the NFL loving USCs think about this, especially the fans of the two teams involved?

Hi Everyone,

My answers to this "NFL" General Poll are:

1) Yes - it brings the NFL to a whole new audience, and makes for an exciting overseas trip.

2) I'm a Buffalo Bills fan. And no, I'm not in support of the team moving "internationally" to Toronto, Canada. There have been rumours that they will move after Ralph Wilson dies, as the team is now playing some of their "international" pre-season and regular season games there already.

Ant (A Buffalo Bills football fan, in favour of more exposure of the NFL, but not the Bills moving out of Buffalo...)

P.S. I'm not the USC, but I might as well be for this poll's purposes, as I'm a football fan too...lol.....

That used to be my take on it too, Pedroh, to be fair. But then when I initially moved to the U.S. on an F1 visa in 2004, I decided to at least try and get into it - and now I'm hooked. And rugby (in this country anyway) is still considered something of an elitist sport, taught mainly at the posh, private, fee-paying schools, and watched by a bunch of middle/upper class nonces. Not really the ticket for a working class lad like myself. ;)
