I'm pooped and I've done nothing today! LOL But I was up late w/ my little stinkers (that includes the hubby)

I'm trying to plan a party for us moving into the new house. I need ideas on what to make...I'm inviting people from work and other friends. I'm thinking BBQ but what should we cook up and what kind of sides around. The weather is absolutely beautiful these days so we will be outside on our patio and backyard (Scorpion free  )

If I left it up to my husband we'd have meat only! LOL

I have lights up around the house inside and out already...looks awesome! So I'm planning a late afternoon into the evening party for everyone.

Now I'm getting excited!

Nawal - here's one of my very favorite appetizers that everyone raves about afterwards. It is the bomb! Enjoy!:

Smoked Mozzarella Fonduta

Ingredients:

1 loaf Italian bread, such as ciabatta or semolina, sliced into 1/4-inch slices

1 c. sour cream

1 tsp. thyme

1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper

1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper

3 c. shredded mozzarella or smoked mozzarella cheese*

3 c. shredded smoked provolone or provolone cheese*

3 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

3 Tbsp. grated Romano cheese

1/4 cup fresh diced tomatoes

Fresh chopped parsley

Directions:

(*This recipe calls for one of these two cheeses to be smoked and one to be regular)

Arrange sliced Italian bread flat on a baking sheet and cover with foil. Set aside until ready to use.

Preheat oven to 450 F.

Combine sour cream, thyme, red pepper, cayenne pepper and four cheeses in a large bowl and blend thoroughly.

If serving family style, spray an 8" x 10" casserole dish with pan spray, then use a spatula to transfer the mixture.

Using a large spoon, spread cheese mixture to create an even surface.

Place casserole dish on center rack in oven.

After five minutes, place baking sheet with bread, still covered, on top rack in oven. Bake for an additional five minutes.

Remove bread and fonduta from oven.

Garnish casserole dish with diced tomatoes and parsley in center of fonduta.

Arrange bread slices around bowl(s) and serve immediately.

what ruffles my feathers is that before i cut grass, i grab the pooper scooper and baggy and do a good check to make sure everything is picked up and i go not once, twice but three times to make sure that its good to go, but always as i am cutting grass i run over a pile and pass two piles along the way  how can this happen??? it wasn't there when i was doing my search.
