hi! i just finished my visa interview today. everything went smoothly, no problem, except for the document verification. i already paid delbros for DV, but the CO asked for 2 DV, so i was asked again to pay delbros. i think i was asked to have 2 DV because of my birth cert and marriage cert. i was not the only one who was asked for 2 DV.

the only documents asked from me is photos, personal cards, emails (even not translated) and remittances. i was asked at the pre-screening the following questions:

THE NAME OF THE PETITIONER

HOW DID WE MEET?

WHEN DID WE MEET?

HIS LAST VISIT, NEED THE EXACT DATE

MY WORKING EXPERIENCES

after the pre-screening, i waited for few minutes then my number was flashed/called for CO interview. the CO asked me my name and where my husband is. since she recognized me coz she was the same consul who interviewed me when i applied for the US passport of my son, she no longer asked me questions, she just told me to wait for my name to be called.

in the releasing area, she asked me my delbros bank receipt, then i was asked to pay for delbros again coz i need 2 DV. then she handed me a pink slip attached to my appointment letter and a white paper. she asked me to return to her after i pay my delbros.

i made friends with few applicants, one applicant was asked to bring her college diploma and PRC license. there is also another applicant who was asked for the copy of the divorce papers of her fiance.

well, this is my experience for my visa interview.

good luck to all!

At the releasing counter, officer asked me if i've already paid my DV,so i gave him 3 DV receipts from Metorbank since we're 3 applicants,me and my 2 kids. But then,he only took 1 and said, why i paid 3?i said, well,it says per applicant so then i paid 3,then he said,no,only need one,and i just waste my money,Oh well, better all be ready

this is the first time i heard about 2 DVs.....MAN!! this is my opinion ok.....the gov't have figured out a way of making money again....just charge Birth and Marriage license each and double the benefit... hope no one is offended..just what i think.

oh man! this is making me sick

but thanks mlt..at least if this happens to us we won't be TOO surprised..

another money-making scheme (i hope not..)
