I'm human. I have feelings. Seriously if I don't always send a pm or a congrats....it's cuz I'm going thru some ####### of my own. I'm just one woman.

I have a much better idea now of who my friends are and aren't. Ya'll aren't just screen people to me, I have been in your homes, you have been in mine, I have held your children.

I am just at a sad loss of words today. My feelings are hurt. I won't stop caring about my VJ buddies, but I sure will put a better spotlight on someone before calling them 'friend'.

With all that has been said.

I don't think its being careful of whom we pick as friends...people come in and out of your life for reason. Take what you've experienced and learn and move on. But we ourselves need to be more consistent in our personalities and treatment of our friends. There are three sides to every story as they say...

Don't expect friends to stay friends long if you don't help grow the relationship and respect it. That includes keeping confidences, treating them like you'd like to be treated yourself and most of all forgiving them when they admit they have messed up.

Lack of forgiveness makes for a very bitter person.

I guess when they *honestly* admit they messed up and admit what they did was wrong instead of rewording it and making it look like something it really wasn't, then I can think about forgiving.

This was a very interesting experience for me because I am now able to weed out a few people that I thought were genuine. I guess we could look at it as an early Eid gift so that instead of continuing certain relationships which were fake to begin with I can now focus on the more real ones....ones that won't outright make a game of who's husband is a sleeper cell, etc. I'm sure this is true for more than just me as well.

In any event I'm going to go back to my Ramadan bubble now. It was a lot nicer in there.

I guess you are lucky enough to never have your words misunderstood before or been ridiculed when you tried to clarify yourself (though you did apologize if you did offend anyone). If only all of us were as good at speaking in a way that all could understand our meaning and never offend anyone.
