In everyones timeline i see "Touched" mentioned... what does this mean?

Once you get your first NOA, go onto the website USCIS.GOV and register with your NOA receipt # and then you can follow along. You should be able to see when your file is worked on "touched". Good luck!

when this date changes you've been 'touched'...

I never knew that either, it never showed on mine...mine still says that they received my information and that my case is pending since march 12,2008.... since then i have gotten both of my NOA'S and im waiting on montreal for my interview. Or maybe things show up differently for me because im going through a lawyer?Ah well. Thanks for the info!

I have my NOA1 with the receipt number but i can't find where on the uscis site to register for an account? Is it the create e-filing account?

when you go onto the web site and put in your case number to check, it will say underneath do you want to register for e-mail notification or something like that, there is where you register for the account
