Russian traditional condenced milk

Hello everyone!

I bet you all know russian traditional condenced milk called "sguchennoe moloko". I know for a fact that international food section in any grocery store should have it but I always get lost when I see all the different lables. Can someone please help me identify it and/or suggest by the brand.

Сгущеное молоко - sweetened condensed milk, в любом супермаркете. Можно купить и вареную, например, в мексиканском (Dulce de leche) или бразильском (Doce de leite) магазинах

Why have it shipped if you can buy it in the grocery store down the road? Tastes absolutely the same if you get the sweetened one

Well... my wife likes sweetened condensed milk... of course... like any normal human... but I am not sure it is excatly what you are talking about. If it is, you can find it and ANY grocery store for not very much money. Usually by the baking stuff.

Look for "Carnation" Evaporated Milk (canned) in the baking section of your grocery store, it's pretty similar to condensed milk.

Her Mom is shipping a bunch of things so Natasha asked her to throw in a little bit of Russia too (aka the milk). Natasha has tried the sweetened, condensed milk here and says it's not the same - she wants 'the brown one'. We will be placing an order on the site Mox gave, though!

They actually sell it in Shoprite here in Jersey. But for Russian one you'd have to find a european store, or russian store.

Traditional American pie. It's sort of an in-joke around here amongst the guys. The worst insult you dish out here in the RU forum is to call someone a "cake eater."

But mmmmmm...a pirogi would go down pretty nicely right about now...
