I will be flying from Las Vegas to El Paso because it's cheaper.

Those who have done this or know of this option. How can I get to Ciudad Juárez (close to the Embassy preferably) from the El Paso airport?

Like a bus line that will take me there and costs. Or maybe if someone can provide a link for me. I've been googleing but can't find anything.

Thanks!

You can use the same taxi driver that I used. His name is Alfredo. He was great. His number is 1-915-637-4988. He even stopped at the bank and waited for me for 15 minutes on the way to the bridge. There are 4 different bridges that cross into Juarez from El Paso. I took the closest one, Bridge of Americas (AKA Cordoba Bridge). His charge was $40 for him to drive through customs and drop me off on the Mexican side or $20 to drop me off at the bridge but not cross into Mexico. I chose to be dropped off at the bridge for $20 and walk across.

...It is actually very funny walking across. At the center of the bridge there is a sign that shows Mexico's side and America's side. That is not the funny part. The funny part is that when you walk across into Juarez nobody searches you, nobody asks any questions, nobody interrogates you, no customs inspections, nothing!!! I literally walked across the bridge and into Mexico untouched! If you are wondering how far the walk is, it is about 125 yards (not very far at all, a 3 and a half minute walk).

...I might be returning in December, if I do, I will probably walk from the airport to the bridge, but that is most likely a 25 minute walk or 30 minute walk so I would not recommend it.

...The probably you might have, that I did not have, is that you will still need a ride from the point when you walk into Mexico to your hotel. My fiancee is living in Juarez right now, so she was waiting for me as soon as I walked over.

...As you probably know, most Mexican cities have bus transportation. Juarez is no different, it has many buses that are labeled different names, usually on the windshield of the bus, that will take you to different locations. The good news about that is it only costs 4 and a half pesos (45 cents) to ride the bus. The bad news is I am unable to tell you what bus to take, I simply don't know.

...But, you have a couple of options. If you speak Spanish and are in for an adventure that will save you money, then you can ask somebody which bus to take to get to your hotel. As long as it is daylight it is completely safe (as long as your not flashing jewelry and wads of cash). If you decide to take a taxi once you get into Juarez, I am not sure what they will charge you, but I have a feeling it is going to be way more than 4.5 pesos! If I had to guess, at least 30 or $35.

...You can ask Alfredo how much it will be to go from the El Paso airport to your hotel in Juarez, I am guessing that if it is $40 to enter into Juarez, it should not be more than $50 or $55 total to your hotel. I hope this helped, send me a message if you have any other questions.

Here's my review of what I did (flew into El Paso Airport, taxi to Cordova Bridge, walked through customs building where they also didn't ask me any questions - I just asked where to go "to get to the other side" and they said "that door," walked across bridge, crossed the street at the Mexico Info Center, took a taxi to hotel): http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...896&st=2400

There are some pictures too but not too many.

I paid $16 from the airport to the bridge, and 100 pesos ($10) from the bridge to the hotel, which was just about a minute away.
