My wife called today to nvc and told her that the case was completed, but they couldn't give her a date for the interview today, the lady said that it will be probably in november, I am so surprised because most of the time they schedule it for the next month, do you think there might be some retaliation against Venezuelan beneficiaries? this is outreageous, I really miss my wife and keeping us apart for this long is not fair.

God bless you all.

Probably because they are almost done, if not already done, scheduling interviews for October. I called last night and the lady said they will be finished scheduling interviews at the end of this week, but I'm not even getting my hopes up since its usually a 2.5 month wait for Canadians to get an interview. Not sure of the wait for your country, but seems like sometimes its shorter or longer. Really depends on how many cases the embassy or consulate gets.

I am sure that is just the normal wait time. Each country is different like my wife's country China is about a three month wait for the interview once approved.

I seriously doubt it has anything to do with what is going on in Venezuela politically.

When was your case completed by the NVC? They most likely finished scheduling October appointments yesterday and found that the embassy in Venezuela was already booked, so now you have to wait until November. This is only if they completed your case before mid september. If they recently completed it, then it means you missed their cut off date.

it was completed on the 16th of september, they told her to call again on friday, I hope something good happens, Venezuela doesn't have a high immigration rate to the states, so maybe we could get a date for october, well hoping is the last thing we can ever do...
