Hello guys! My fiancee mailed the K1 packet to California Service center last September 2, 2008. And until now he dont get any confirmation or NOA1 yet. How long normally it takes before my fiancee can get the NOA1?

It would be nice if we can get to know each other's members here with the same timeline.

Will appreciate anyone who can enlighten our worries. Thanks in advance...

When the I-129F was mailed, did you send a Money Order or a Personal Check for the processing fee?

If it was a personal check, check to see if it has cleared the bank yet.

If the check has been cashed by the service center, ask your bank to see the check or pull it up online if you have internet banking with your bank.

The backside of the check will have your Case number on it.

Like the backside of my check had ' EACxxxxxxxxxx' the numbers were replaced with x's for my personal protection.

The number printed on the backside of your cashed check is your Case number. Just in case they forgot to send you the NOA1, like they forgot to send mine.

Nick

When I sent mine(end of July), it took less than a week for them to cash my check, but I got my NOA just a couple of days later. I wasn't worried cus I went online to check the back of my check to get my WACxxxxxx number for my petition.

A buddy of mine, just turned his in on the last week of August and his check cleared on Sept. 5th, and he got his NOA 1 a couple of days later.

Hopefully u get yours soon. But yeah, if it was paid for by a personal check, look online with the bank and see if they photo copy it and have it for you to view, and hopefully they did a good job of copying it(my buddies copy online was horrible).

Good luck n Ingats ka!!
