Thrilling Thursday popped into my head because that's what we used to call it at a school I worked at. All the kiddies would give presentations of their learning on "Thrilling Thursday".

Not that THIS thursday is particularly thrilling.

Actually I'm headed out to my actuarial exam this morning. I really hope I pass, because I get a raise if I do, and I don't want to have to take it again either!

It'll be nice to have the rest of the day off though as the exam will end before 11! I'll get to spend some time with Wadi before he has to go to work at 4. :D Usually I never get to see him at all when the sun's out except on the weekends!

Well I hope you ladies (and gentlemen) have a wonderful (no, excuse me, thrilling!) thursday! :)

i dreamed liz's abdel was in the hospital (had to send her IM to be sure he's ok), and icey was in the dream too, but she looked different (but it was her), and i think a few others had cameo appearances....

does this mean i'm on vj too much? :help::whistle:

For me, today is a catch-up day at work. I'm taking tomorrow off (yay!) to go up to NC to try on wedding dresses and visit my sister for the long weekend. Amed is, of course, coming too (though not to the wedding dress store)!

My sister is super excited to have us come. She loves Amed. In fact, my whole family does. He has really clicked with everyone. I can't even remember what it was like before he got here. I want to rush home after work every day to see him. He is so sweet and considerate and smart, and I know it's driving him stir crazy staying at home and not having a job to go to, but I thank God every day he's here!

I hope everyone is reunited with their loves soon. I check in every day to see if there's any news, and it breaks my heart to see some of you having such a difficult time. It shouldn't be like this.

The waiting is brutal (especially for those of you who've had such a horribly long wait), but it is so worth it in the end once the wait is over.

Have a good day everybody!

yes, one more day until a 3 day weekend. I went home sick Yesterday. Damm Cramps. I came back to work yesterday and someone was suppose to keeping up with my stuff. My work requires someone else to do it if I am not here. Nothing was touched. Ever since I have decided that I am leaving to lebanon and informed them that I will be gone in 2 months, I have no motivation to come to work.

LB - AAWW, Keep it together for these kids. I am sure they love you too and you will have another group of wonderful kids next year. You make a difference in there lives. I am sure you are very excited for this weekend. I am so Jealous. Inshallah Ali will make it here Safely and with no problems.

Have a great day everyone! I'm hoping to go see the Da Vinci code tonight. Otherwise this is a pretty boring day at work then to class. On a more exciting note I had a big blow out with my roomate yesterday. On Monday night she had a party, didn't even think to tell me which sucked cause I had a midterm on Tues, and then on Tues morning she left town until Wed night without cleaning anything up. She knew I was showing the appartment on Tues afternoon to some girls who want to live there next year so it was pretty embarassing. Anyways, she broke 3 chairs that my Grandmother gave me which really pissed me off. When she came home we had a nice little chat about respect etc. and I have decided not to share any of my belongings with them anymore. So that's that, fun times in my house!

Have a good day!

Sarah

I went to my youngest son's last day of school program this morning and now he's here with me for the day. We have been watching Bugs Bunny and now preparing to play a board game. Mohammed called and they talked for awhile, we did too. So far it's been the best day of the week... oh except for the fact that post office can't tell me where they have been delivering my mail for the last 2 weeks. They have none on hold. They "think" they may have been putting it in the WRONG MAILBOX. So the bills I was waiting on and a check have all gone POOF. I can't say I really need this doo doo right now. I will keep my opinion of government offices to myself for the moment... other then to say I've HAD JUST ABOUT ENOUGH INEPTITUDE.

Thanks for all of your good wishes. I think the exam went pretty well. I only had to guess on 3 questions, so if I didn't make any careless mistakes on the others, I should pass!

Won't find out for sure until July though...

So Wadi's at work now, and I get to relax and enjoy an evening with no studying - haven't had one in a while!!!
