Guys, I am leaving in 30 min to go to Frankfurt where I will have my interview tomorrow morning!! I am anxious to get it over with. I checked my papers today at least 100 times to make sure I got everything and I am still not sure :girlwerewolf2xn:

I've been thinking about you!!! And I will pray for you!

Everything will be ok.... and I'm already excited to hear how it went!

I called the doctor in Frankfurt today and I need to get a couple of things done before I go there... I'm glad that I called and asked again. If there is one thing I learned during this process it would be... better ask too many times and be overly prepared ;)

hey guys...

good news, good news: I GOT THE VISA... yeap, yesterday... Beside the fact that they kept me waiting for like almost 4 hours there and beside the fact that i was the 3rd one in there from over 30 but i got out of the embassy the last one, everything went fine...so dont worry about it, since i know your relationships are real. Just have all your documents with you and that will do it...

PS: dont just print 5-10 pictures as they say there, print more than that and put it in an album if you can...

2/24/09: NA02 APPROVAL... finally, after 9 MONTHS & 8 DAYS!!

5/5/09 : Interview Date APPROVED!!!!

5/8/09: visa received

From NA01 to interview: 12 LONG MONTHS!!

07/23/09: received SSN

08/17/09: Passed Driving test

08/22/09: Married on beautiful Mackinac Island, MI

AOS

08/31/09: Mailed AOS Package

10/20/09: Received AP

10/21/09 Received EAD card

12/7/09 AOS APPROVED!

12/14/09: Green Card arrived in mail. Happy Days!

It's taken 18 months from applying for K1 to receipt of Green Card! Thank God it's over until 12/7/11

Here we go again...

10/14/11: Biometrics

7/2/12: Approved. New Card Ordered

7/7/12: Green Card received

no in my case they didnt ask because my medical report wasn't there yet. They just said they will issue the visa as soon as the report is there. I got the confirmation from my doctor today in the mail which means Frankfurt must haven gotten my report today as well just after I left. :-)

Can't wait till you all will be done with your interviews!! Dan is so anxious to have me there. He was asking if I already got the final visa today :D

dang that took a long time for the doctor to send the medical stuff over! Is that normal?

I'll be going to the doctor on the Tuesday before and hope that they'll have it by Friday but it might be quicker cause I'll be going in Frankfurt.

Oh man, I can't wait to be done with all of this!!!

it sounds like the embassy there has a lot of work to do, and the doctors too... cos when i did my medical 2 weeks ago they told me to come back for the results like in 4 hours, and the package was all done and stuff. and then at the embassy after my interview they told me to wait 15 minutes so they can glue the visa on my passport... hmm, oana31 that's good news for you... i pray and hope you will come here soon and let us know that you got out of uscis...

well guys, looks like there are not so many people on this thread anymore but ill keep on checking in here until u all guys that i kept in touvh with get ur visa: kiwie, stepha, panterchen. evian and you oana31... who knows, maybe we'll meet one day... (actually i know we;ll meet one day if we keep the faith, and guess what: the good news about it is that we dont need a visa to get to heaven ;) )

my medical report just took so long because I had to hand in the last HPV vaccination confirmation. And since I got sick in between everything was delayed two weeks because the doc said I am too sick to get a vaccination. :(

Oh well, it is all set and done. yeah! Normally I think the visa issuance takes around 6-8 business days if you chose for waiting for the mail. I hope Ill have mine next wednesday. Would be awesome.Nothing to really worry about at the Frankfurt embassy. They said that even if you should not have all required documents they won't make you come back. You can hand it all in via mail or fax. Just be well prepared with all the documents and you will be just fine!

I can't wait to see Daniel in the US. It will be a challenge to start a new life in this difficult time but I am sure we will make it with the help of our family and friends.
