No answer from your service request, Evian? We got ours saying they have to perform additional reviews- I'm afraid we may be stuck in security checks. My fiance jokes I'm the problem as he became a citizen in May last year and he was checked back then. We can't be stuck because of him, it must be me- me, the bad guy trying to steel away one of their American citizens

My case was touched on Jan.6th and Jan.7th, I'm still waiting for NOA2. Stepha, How can you get the answer from uscis for service request? Your fiance called them or they called him? My fiance went to infopass last Friday, they just told him be patient waiting. We don't know what we can do now.

My fiance received it by mail last Friday. I asked him to phone again this past Monday but he said it would be too soon as we had just got an aswer from their side. He gave in to phone on Friday and get a new InfoPass appointment maybe in February But if we are in security checks.....there is nothing we can do to speed up the process...

You are still in my prayers as well as everybody else who hasn't received their NOA2 or is stuck at NVC (Natan).

As for us our file hasn't even made it to NVC and it has been over a month! I know that they say that it can take up to 90 days and the lady at NVC even told me to call back in a couple of months

We requested additional information and they told us that they'll call back but of course they haven't yet. And as we found out after receiving a letter from USCIS that can take up to 30 days as well! My fiance made and info pass appointment for this Friday... we'll see if we'll find out anything there.

I'm going to contact the US embassy here in Frankfurt and see if they can do anything for us.

There is no way of giving up and I'm going to put all my hope in God. For I know that He wants to give good gifts to His children. He is in control and that is a very comforting thought!

I called NVC again today and the embassy in Frankfurt but nothing. We are debating contacting our congressman. But for now we'll wait what is going to happen at the info pass appointment!

No news here since our approval. We will call NVC at the end of the week to see whether our case got there. I hope so.

Hello, people!!

I am glad to see you again... So, Evian, your NOA2 is coming soon, I guess. Stepha: how many checks do they have to do for you??? It's not like you are a secret member of some secret services, who secretly sell weapons, that are secretly used in secret wars!

My fiance called one of his senators' office, and he managed to talk to a young fellow who knew a lot about this stuff. he said he will inquire these days and give him a call back. So, we are waiting to see. Also, my finace called USCIS (twice) on Monday, and the people answering were like "Umm, we are pretty loaded with files...we are processing March, so yours will be approved in like 3 months"

Anyway: we have to keep calling USCIS until everyone there knows about our file !

One file went out to Frankfurt yesterday; it shows on DHL tracking. I think it's us and another German couple waiting right (they got approved Jan 7). It was probably their file.

It probably did! How can you see that a file is on the way to Frankfurt???

so we found out today that our file has been send to NVC. SO that's good news!!!!!!

But we also found out that they send it out in batches and we have to wait till somebody puts it in the system at NVC!

Still praying!!!!!!!
