JUNE 2008 K1 FILERS CSC ONLY!!

well kids - got it - APPROVED!!!! got it on the way home from work, sitting at an intersection "hmm... lemme check one more time."

i know it's much easier from this end of things, to know that they are actually getting through the apps, but boy when i've stared at that same date for forever - it's hard.

so i'm thinking AWESOME thoughts for everyone who's still waiting!!!!!!!!!! you guys are all close - closer than you think - and certainly closer than it may feel.

I'm just thrilled to see the damn CSC numbers go up. I get sick of seeing only vermont numbers tick up all day for weeks now. I know I shouldn't begrudge them but grrr CSC gets more apps -- we should have the larger numbers.

*sigh* im so on edge with all the things going on this week and next, tense about the election.. tense about the slowness of the CSC. I'm really hoping next week rocks for this country and we see a pickup on approvals.

Hey - about the wedding ? that was asked - if we're doing it straight-up western style or mixing cultures...

My fiance and I are both "western" but we are doing it pretty American. In Germany you have to have a civil service wedding then can do a church one if you want. We are just having a church service wedding.. no civil service. As far as traditions go I would like to incorporate some from both, but am honestly not really sure too much about the German ones... I don't think he is either - lol, I don't think he's really thought about it much ever.

Really, when it comes to our wedding we are doing it "us" more than anything. We are having our ceremony incorporate both languages though and also everything else - wedding save-the-date cards had both languages, the invitations will too, etc.

Hey everyone! Only recently found VisaJourney and just found this thread. Keep your chins up! My file was accepted on June 25, 2008 and was touched at about 3pm on Oct. 31, I went back to USCIS website at 5pm and lo and behold.....Approval!!!! If averages hold, my fiancee could be her by Christmas.
