Just thought I'd check in. We're still waiting over here. Patiently. Err.. well, actually really impatiently. Trying to keep our hopes up.

I do really good all day long, then I come home from work and I think, "I'm sure we weren't approved so I won't check USCIS today." But THEN I start to think, "But the one day I don't check it is the day we're approved..maybe I better check. We could be approved today."

So I check it. Then get sad when we're not approved.

Day 135 is today (Oct. 30th) for us since our NOA1 date. Hopefully that means we'll get to rejoice soon too!

Ok. Enough of my depression. (sorry, but no one besides my fiance and you guys understand what it's like.) I am REALLY happy for all of you getting approved. Well, let's be honest: I'm happy and jealous at the same time.

On the bright side I bought my wedding dress the other day! :)

Any one got any good ideas for keeping our minds OFF of the waiting?

Just checking in with my fellow Junies--I'm surprised (and sorry) to hear that nothing much has happened this week. Hopefully tomorrow will be huge! And keep in mind that it looks like a lot of people are getting late notices--it seems like we're ending the week really poorly, but then they trickle in over the next week or two.

Good luck you guys!!!

congrats on the wedding dress!!! that's awesome... you know, maybe THIS is a good way to keep our minds off the waiting - the prep!

my fiancee and her mother are making her dress, with a local place doing the finishing touches. it'll be traditional kazakh (she's mongolian, but ethnic kazakh) and when i was there last month i had a man's traditional cloak, hat and shirt made for the wedding - i'll be stylin' in my royal blue chapan with macked-out kazakh stitching! hahahaha....

so what is everyone else doing for their weddings - straight western-style or incorporating both cultures?

Hey there!

I'm just curious... Does USCIS actually work on weekends? I will be away from the computer the whole next week (getting that surgery that was supposed to happen 3 weeks ago, but was rescheduled), so I'm thinking if there's any chance I might see my approval by European Monday morning, or is Friday my last chance?

CONGRATS!!!

P.s. My timeline is the same PRECISELY ) Waiting ...

I still think its a bit early for us end-of-junies. I think Rob and Mel just got lucky. We should be seeing people in the 19 - 23 range right now.

I'm trying to stay realistic, because I'll go insane otherwise. I already had to calm myself down from a mental freakout earlier that was completely unfounded. I started thinking... "omg, I changed my address on 8/19, what if the reason they havent touched me yet is because I got moved into the august group when I changed it!"

Realistically, its still too early.

This probably doesn't help but we got our NOA1 in May and we've never been touched but aparently that's quite normal. I'm not sure if I agree but if you're June and you haven't, I wouldn't worry too much! Hopefully you'll be approved soon!

I worry that is going to happen to me all the time. I'm a huge worrier. I hope you get yours soon, its really unfair how some people seem to get skipped.
