congrats on your approval. looking at your timeline, how did you get all the details of shipping and receiving from NVC to embassy?

is the tracking updated online? or did you have to call?

10.01.08 -- NOA2 Notice Date

10.03.08 -- NVC Received

10.04.08 -- NOA2 Received in Mail

10.07.08 -- NVC Shipped

10.10.08 -- Athens embassy received

10.13.08 -- Athens embassy mailed Packet 3

WE SPEEDIN THRU JUNE IN LESS THAN 2 WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't really get that sense. =( I'm finding it really frustrating to check the site and see so few approvals going through. We may have later dates showing up, but it seems to me that the numbers that are going through are very low. It seems every time I check Igors I see Vermont approvals going through but CSC updates one a day if that. Plus I haven't moved up Igors in a week. I'm stuck between 148 + 149. I know Igors is just a small sample but it would seem given that more applications go through california that the number of approvals should be higher then Vermont each week, but it isn't. Vermonts been consistently approving more or at least an equal amount to California. Maybe were just unlucky and the California people dont bother to update their timelines or something, but it sure does seem like there are a lot of late May and early June people still waiting on NOA 2.

12-15-2009 touch: GC & AP. should I expect some approvals ?:) or am I too optimistic ?:(

12-21-2009 EAD & AP approved OMG!! Is it really true? :)

12-26-2009 AP arrived by mail

12-28-2009 second e-mail about the approval of EAD

12-30-2009 GC APPROVED!!!!!!

There are a number of us in the same boat. Waiting every day for news of an NOA-2 from CSC. I understand the frustration of seeing NOA-1 dates later being approved sooner. Somethings just don't make sense and are not fair.

Our number on Igor's list was flying a few weeks ago, now it's come to a stop. Ours has not been touched since the NOA-1.

Let's just keep encouraging one another and congratulating those that are approved. We WILL all get there.

YIKES!!! i am very nervous that i have missed something. My I129 F was received on June 16, 2008. I am noticing that many of you who have filed your cases have been touched.

I check the USCIS website daily and this is what it says:

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status: Case received and pending.

Should my case have been touched? Am I not looking at the correct thing.....

Please advise as I am becoming nervous that I have missed something...

have u created an acount and logged in?

if you do, check the last updated date, that shows if you've been touched

APPROVED!!! 3-2-09

That means they looked at your case today, so you were in fact touched today. Usually people who are touched around the time when a NOA 2 should arrive get approvals or RFEs that same day. Check later today or tomorrow and see if you have good news.

so odd that on the day that i create an account is the day that my petition is touched. the words TOUCHED were not written though...
