Hi, now that we have our case number, would it be a good idea to send both of our Letters of Intent that we forgot to enclose in our I-129f package rather than wait a few months for a RFE? Do you think they will now link the two together? Thanks!!

You have to wait for them to ask you to send any aditional evidence, if that's the case.

I remember reading here in VJ about some couples that have been approved without letters or intent.

You're going to get an RFE for sure (sorry, hate to say that) so you need to send any evidence or documentation you forgot to include when they request it. If you were to send it now, it'd probably just be thrown away.

Good luck.

This is incorrect. As eric and teresa stated, there have been couples who got approved without getting an rfe for this reason. Every adjuticator is different.

Do not send any additional evidence while you are waiting for your approval. It will not get to your file.

I agree there are certain people that get by with missing documents, but overall, the requirements are there for a reason, and the large majority of people who are missing documents will get an RFE.

However, I should have worded it better and said that they will most likely get an RFE. ;)

Be READY to send them out if you get an RFE, but don't do so unless USCIS asks for them. You will need them at the interview stage.
