Is anyone contacted the USCIS to ask about the expired I-765 form? I'm just concerned that the top of it says Expires 08/31/08.

Check the forms page on the USCIS website... it says it is the form to use... version date 5/27/08...

Well, if they haven`t posted a new version yet this is the one you should use. OR e-file.

05/03/2008 call to USCIS because NOA1 not received ;( Got the receipt number and was told that we cannot get replacement NOA1.

08/21/2008 request for NOA1 for I-130 to file AOS placed over the phone and forwarded to VSC. Thanks to the first great Rep at USCIS hotline

10/17/2008 Hubby`s B-day, NOA1 for I-130 finally arrives!

just a hunch but I think the old version expired on aug 31. the proper one on the website is dated 05/27/2008.

yes, it's dated 5/27/08 and also expired 8/31/08. :rofl:

but since there is no later version, this is what you have to use.

The form does not necessarily expire for USCIS purposes, but the approval of the collection of data by the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA), a department within the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) which was created pursuant to to the Paper Work Reduction Act of 1995, expires.

Example:

OMB No. 1615-0040; Expires 08/31/08
