Nope...they are not open Saturday, but you can go early if you want. I don't know when your appointment date is, but unless things have changed....going on early on Wednesday instead of Thursday is okay.

we're planning to have the medical Oct.16-17, since will be flying from the province on oct.15. But i'm thinking ryt now, what if we start our medical on the oct.15 after lunch...would the 1 hour plane ride won't affect any medical procedure? LOL... what do you think guys? :innocent:

I know you already have your ticket, but you are taking a chance (even starting Wednesday afternoon) that you might not finish before Friday. If you start Wednesday afternoon, your child's TB skin test cannot be read until Friday. If the results are positive, and it seems many are positive because of the BCG vaccine and the high occurances of exposure to TB in the Phils, then they will require an x-ray and another day for results.

My daughter was negative on her TB skin test. We started in the morning on the first day, I think a Tuesday, and did not finish till the evening of the third day. It was too late to make their flight home so they had to rebook again to the fourth day. If your child has a negative TB and your flight home is on Saturday, you might be okay if everything runs smoothly.

It's up to you, but I would consider rebooking your flight to arrive in Manila on Monday as it might be cheaper than staying for the weekend if you don't finish by Friday. If your child has had the BCG vaccine or a positive TB test before, you can count on at least 4 days of medical processing at SLEC.

Good luck!

Scott

No, we're not flying back home until we finish our interview on the 23rd, that's why i gave a 1 week allowance between the medical and interview. Tanx for your concern then...i really appreciate that.
