Is this true? I've read it somewhere in the forum. They were talking about co-sponsorship and they mentioned there that manila, US Embassy doesn't accept co-sponsorship. Is this true?

Does not true at all. We have a co-sponsor and our visa was approved (pink slip) though we got white slip due to add. docs verifications (death cert.) Just relax sam808 u'll be fine. Good luck!

They evaluate each case on the totality of circumstances. For instance, they are far more likely to accept a co-sponsor when the petitioner is about to graduate from college and the co-sponsor is financially secure then when the petitioner is a 30 year old burger flipper with no prospects being sponsored by somebody who barely qualifies.

There is no hard and fast rule that applies here.

Nevertheless there has been plenty reported about it. It's a case by case decision.

I was kinda worried too. But since I read that some had to go through cosponsorship and they got their visa's I think it's a real case to case basis matter.
