I can't sleep. My body is achy from working out and I'm too wound up still since my approval. I slept a couple of hours, but now I'm thinking about the million things I have to do now! I wish it were time to go to work already (wow, never thought I'd say that :lol: )

2009-07-11 AOS packet mailed (and supposedly delivered the same day)

2009-07-15 NOA1 for I-485, I-131, I-765 (USCIS rec'd date is 07-12)

2009-08-05 Case transferred to CSC

2009-08-12 no biometrics yet.......called on 30 day mark to report no biometrics, a service inquiry has been made on the case.....

2009-08-25 - received Biometrics appointment letter!

2009-08-27 I-131 (AP) approved

2009-09-15 Biometrics appointment

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

2009-09-23 EAD Card received

2009-10-06 GC approved/card production ordered

2009-10-13 GC received in the mail!

tell me about it. a 14 hour difference sucks going east!

eta: the strange this is - we'll take off at 1800 on sat and land in kansas at 2300. only a 5 hour flight........

Good morning everybody!!! Well, today we will go once again and complete my husband's medical for the second time this year. I sure hope immigration doesn't lose it anymore or they will have a psycho on their front steps when they arrive to work.

Good morning MENA!!!

I've been MIA for the most part as there has been no internet at work :angry: Though I have no place to complain as I remember those who were in the path of IKE and are without power... But Verizon is seriously reeking havoc on the northern East coast with wide spread DSL and phone outages - Monday was a complete waste as our fax and DSL were out - Though it did make me think about life before internet- Everyone in the office just kind of sat around and looked at each other with really blank stares :blink: It's back on today but it still cutting in and out.. Not sure what is going on... A Verizon tech came out yesterday as this street seemed to be more affected than the rest of Wilmington and gave us some story about squirrels (Amal did you have something to do with this ? :lol: ) and birds and wires and copper...... Apparently .... just his conspiracy theory.. the squirrels ate through the box/wire and let the birds inside and they made a nest and chewed up the insulation, exposing the copper/wires and as all the rain and humidity came it made the service poor.. I dunno I was confused lol .. dang squirrels!!

Anyway just wanted to say that I hope you are all doing well and praying for my VJ peeps without power and that are having problems because of Ike.. i hope that everything is back up and running for you ASAP!!!

PS Nawal LOooooOooove the new pictures of my sweeties hehe :D
