HI GUYS

I JUST WANNA ASK ABOUT THIS IMMIGRATION TIME LINE. CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN THIS FOR ME? I'M JUST CONFUSED COZ I ALWAYS CHECK THIS EVERYDAY, AND THEY WILL SHOW THE DATES THAT ARE STILL ON PROCESS.

AND WHEN I CHECK IT TODAY, I SAW THERE THAT THEY WORKED ALREADY TO THE DATES WHEN I FILED MY APPLICATION, BUT WHY IS IT, I HAVEN'T RECEIVED ANY KIND OF NOTICE THAT COULD TELL THAT THEY'RE WORKING WITH MY PAPERS... IS THIS IMMIGRATION TIMELINE IS TRUE? COZ I JUST FELT SO DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE I ALWAYS CHECK THIS SITE, TO SEE IF THERE IS ANY CHANGES OF MY STATUS... I FELT SO DOWN TODAY COZ WE FILED THIS PETITON SINCE MAY2008, AND UNTIL NOW WERE STILL WAITING FOR THIS NOA2!!! AND I'VE HEARD ALSO THAT SOME MAY FILERS GOT THERE NOA2 ALREADY?

I HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME TO UNDERSTAND THIS...

THANK YOU SO MUCH, PLEASE PRAY FOR ME.... HUHUHUHU

I think that some countries are processed faster than others. I noticed that ones from Canada, Sweden and England seem to get theirs a little faster. My fiance and I petitioned for our K1 Visa in May also and are still impatiently waiting.

Don't get discouraged, most people are getting their NOA2 within 5 months.

Hope everything turns out well for you....keep those of us who posted in May '08 up to date on your status.

Hmm..it doesn't have anything to do with the countries that the beneficiaries are from. Depending on who is petitioning, they may need to issue RFE's, but the country does not have any effect on it. I am a May filer that has been approved and I am Canadian, but there is another couple I talk to who received their NOA1 days after us and still have not been approved.

It just depends on the person doing the approvals. Some workers are slower than others. If one worker has a stack of may/june petitions and can get through them in faster than the person that works beside them, that's unfortunately how it goes. They do not wait for one month's petitions to be completely processed before moving onto the next month if they are able to

The country will affect the speed at which a person gets their interview, as the US consulate in that country is responsible for that.

I;m sure you will hear something soon. It's hard for everyone, but just know the love of your life is worth the wait.

You can check your case status online at USCIS. You only have to sign up for e-mail notification with your EAC number. Then you can check back and see when the last time they "touched" your file. I understand your dilemma. My NOA 1 date was May 23 and they have already sent NOA 2 to some people who filed after that. I called the service center and they couldn't give me any information. They said they are working on February. Yeah, right. I am getting extremely aggravated. I will give it one more week before I call my Congressman.

unless you are outside the timeline USCIS has stated, it is unlikely anything is able to be done. There are still filers from the beginning of may without their NOA2s as well, you're not alone
