Advance Parole - how long does it take to get it in the mail?

Hi, Guys,

I need some help, please. My EAD and AP were both approved last Monday - Sept. 8th. I got 2 E-mails for both cases saying that

1/ my EAD card production was ordered.

2/ My AP was sent to me on the 6th of Sept (that was Saturday though).

Anyway, it's been more than a week and I got my EAD in the mail today. But NO AP YET!

Guys, please, who else waited for AP longer than for EAD and longer than 1 week???

I checked the general statistics and most of people got their APs very soon after approval, and before their EADs!

I have a ticket for this Sunday and wouldn't want to cancel the flight.

Please, help with advice, I will greatly appreciate that.

If you don't get it in the mail today, I'd be making an info pass appointment. Bring documentation to the appointment showing that you received an email saying it was coming (dated the 6th) and that you haven't gotten it. You might want to wait until Thursday...gosh, this is leaving it so darn close! Did you book these tickets before you had your AP??? You should always wait until it's in your hot little hands first. That's the only thing I can suggest. If they know it's on it's way, they might be more inclined to give you one at the office in case your other one doesn't come in the mail.

If worse comes to worse, you can usually pay a fee to change one of the dates on your airline tickets to another day.
