1. my question is normally how long does it take for the whole proses to complete?

2. Do i need my wife birth certificate when filling out the k-3 visa?

3. when they ask for pay-stubs and the person does not make enough will that disqualify the person or can that person get other people to help them?

4. if everything goes well is it required for the husband to attend the interview, or can the husband stay in his country till further notice?

5. if everything is approve can a person travel or will they have to wait for the official visa paper (((not like a driver license recipe )))?

assuming you are the husband, here are the answers to your questions:

1. there is no clear answer to this question. depending on which state you live in, according to the current timelines, the whole process from start to finish should take you 10 months to a year. remember this is just a guesstimate, there is no clear answer to this question.

2. when you fill out the applications I-130 and a 129F, you will not need her birth certificate. she will be required to bring this to the interview. however if you go the CR-1 route, the birth certificate will need to be submitted to NVC with ds-230.

3. if you do not make enough money to support your wife, you can get a co-sponsor who can help fulfill the requirements to have your wife financially supported. if you do not get a co-sponsor and you do not make enough your file will be disqualified. basically the government needs to make sure that the person whom you are bringing into the country is not going to become a public charge.

4. it is not required for the husband to attend the interview. however sometimes the embassy may ask for the husband to appear (which is a very very slim chance) if they are not satisfied with the answers your wife gives them and they need more concrete evidence.

5. after your wife gets here on K3 visa, you will be required to apply for adjustment of status to get her the green card.

i tried to answer to the best of my ability but mayb someone can correct me if i made an error in my answers as i am doing CR1 so i may be a little off here and there. i would encourage you to consider CR1 as your spouse will get a green card upon arrival into the united states and can work right away.

It will depend on the actual visa that gets applied for but a co sponsor will prepare there own affidavit of support for the intended immigrant. The financial evidence occurs at the time the affidavit is submited. Either at the consulate at interview time (K-3) or NVC (IR1/CR1). Both occur AFTER the petitions have been approved.

Depends on the country.... either visa REQURES an I-130, so that is done first... the K-3 requires the I-129F subsequent to the I-130 submission
