Home of record?

I am recently married and filling out my K-3 paperwork. Previously I attempted to apply for a fiancee visa, but because I am in the military I ended up deploying and never received any return paperwork (even thought my mail was forwarded to my home of record in California). I gave up with the fiance visa since I was planning on visiting my fiancee, and I got married instead.

The question is this: my home of record is still officially California, but I reside in North Carolina. Given my past experience, should I fill under my official home of record (California), or where I am currently stationed (North Carolina)? Keep in mind I will be deploying again and will have to trust the post office to get my mail to Iraq if I do choose North Carolina.

I would actually much rather use my mother's address in California, because she can help with the process if I need her too. Thanks for your help!

I would use the mother's address. Make sure she informs the post office your mail will be coming to her.

You did withdraw your original I-129F petition, right?

My original I-129F was denied because it was considered abandoned. I never recieved the additional paperwork or notice they sent and was therefore denied when I never submitted the paperwork they requested.
