Of course, you can still get hit with a random dial, but you can't have everything.

I get these calls every couple of weeks. The first one was a day or two after I got my cell phone... I don't own a car and I'd only been in the US a few weeks! Haven't investigated how to stop them specifically, but recently signed up for no cold calls, so hopefully that'll remove us from these lists.

we got tons of these calls and a few post cards from them too then last week they called again but it was an actual person he called again today but wont give a name when hubby asked who it was he just stayed quiet. I guess since I kept pushing 3 I think it was 3 to remove from the list they figured they better call without the computer doing the work. i hope that do not call list i registered for kicks in soon.

I suggest registering your home and cell phone on the "do not call" registry, if you haven't done so already.

I received one call from MCI a few years back and I reported them to the above website.

I haven't received any telemarketers or scam calls on both my home and cell phone eversince.

Getting both recorded calls (some numbers I've ID'd so I can cut them off prior) and lots of junkmail.
