All of you guys don't loose hope. This week is our week and i have a feeling that before that week is over, we'll have approvals. That's the bottom line. If not, then i will take a trip down to CSC and demand approvals on the spot.

I've been waiting since last October, and I've seen a lot of people pass me by that I applied way after I did. It's extremely frustrating and even more so now because my landlord has defaulted on his mortgage and I'm being kicked out of my home due to his foreclosure. It would be easier to find a place to live here (Arlington, VA) in one of the most expensive places in the country if my wife was here. God, I would love some good news soon!

January 12 2008 - Check cashed

February 24 2008 - I-130 available online

August 22 2008 - Transferred to California Office

October 11 2008 - Pay I-864 Bill

October 16 2008 - Return Completed I-864

i got the RFE last night by e-mail. However they don't tell you what for. You have to wait for what they want until it comes iin the mail. I think they just want us to stress out and prolong our wait like they do. Otherwise I could start working on what they want now and not later. :angry:

Phillip, I read there is an RFE phone line you can call. The number should be somewhere in VJ or someone might have it and post it here. Perhaps you could call and they might tell you over the phone what the RFE is for so you can be gathering the information.

Thanks for the information but they do not have that information over the phone. You have to wait for the darn letter before you can respond. It sucks because you could gather whatever they need while waiting for the letter. :blink:
