Hey guys...pardon me, i'm being so makulit now! :bonk:

My hubby called the NVC Sept.11 & they told him that our interview is on October 23, 2008. We're going to Manila on the 15th of October & have our medical on the 16th & 17th, 1 week prior to our interview. My question is, do you think i will be able to reciv our appointment letter before Oct.15? coz we won't be back here in the province until our interview is over. Or would it be possible if my husband will scan & email me the appointment letter that he will reciv, then i'll just print it out & use it during medical and interview? Will the USEM accept this or they'll be looking for the actual appointment letter and envelope? Any idea or experienced, please... :help:

do you mean the packet that the USem is sending thru mail?? cause the appointment letter is sent thru email.. so yo can just print it.. but if you're talking about the letter that the USEM should be sending you.. you have to have the original one of it.. you cannot just show them a copy.

Ang alam ko ksi sis, they inform you thru email & of course they will mail you the Appointment Letter too, he one from NVC with the big white envelope. enclosed there are the Appointment letter & the requirements that you should bring for the Visa interview. They will mail this letter to both, the Petitioner & Applicant. Of course, my husband will reciv his copy first since he's in the US. That's why i'm asking to our fellow members if scanned & printed letter will do, & they said "yes"! so tanx everyone!

We're on IR1 & its different from K1 in terms of the interview process...in IR1 the NVC assigned a date for us & informed us thru that mail which is the appointment letter or by calling them. While in K1 after ur case has been sent here in the USEM, they inform you & you'll be the one to schedule your interview...tanx anyway my questions has been answered already....thank u guys!
