Funniest thing....when your SO gets to America...first thing...hand them a Dr. Pepper. The expression is priceless :)

sofyan was hooked on root beer when he first came here, then it was cherry seven up now hes hooked on dr pepper...

Im soo not feeling well this morning....my body hurts, the sweats, i think the flu is about to hit me hard...its a shame i work until thursday and theres nooo way to take a day off...

It will not work for me. My husband watches me drink Dr Pepper on the camera all the time and he knows it is my favorite. I even translate it to arabic sometimes just to be funny (Tabibi filfil), lol.

I hope you all had a nice and relaxing weekend.

I am praying we all get some good news very soon as soon the holidays are approaching and I cant bear the thought of not having my husband with me, yet another holiday season...last week we got 2 visas....comeon NVC....let's be generous during the season of Ramdan!

What day of fasting is this for us all??? 13 for me, 14 for some.

I am feeling good tho, thank GOD.

Good morning and a very happy Monday! I'm a Dr Pepper fan and when I do drink soft drinks this is the only one I care for. We did find Dr Pepper in Alexandria!! I wanted Wael to try it as he had heard me speak so often about it....well...it's like the cilantro...you like it or you don't....don't think he liked it but sure put on a good game face!!

He loves Root Beer also!

Have him try it again sometime without telling him what it is... pour it in a glass. I had this experience with Cherry Pepsi adn Dr. Pepper with Ammar. He initially didn't like either one but then upon second try liked them both.

None of my posts have ever been helpful. Be forewarned.

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

Happy Monday everyone. Happy that it has FINALLY stopped raining in Chicago. It rained for 3 days and we have lots of flooding.

Still had a good weekend with my hubby. :) We will be filing AOS in a couple of weeks. Wish us luck.

I'm so tired lately... but today I'm going to a new doctor (already sent my files) and inshalla she will help me figure out what I need to do to live my life like normal again :wacko:
