case to case basis.. you have to prove that the relationship is genuine and your fiance can support you or you won't be a public charge when you get to US..make sure you have enough documents to support on this application..goodluck!!

Most K1 denials occur at the embassy interviews. Guess they want to pick up another $131 at the + or - 5 minute embassy interviews.

Very few denials because peeps didn't prove they had met in the last 2 years with the initial petition in the US.

All true but the OP was asking about petition denial, not visa denial. The "they" that collects the visa fee is not the "they" that adjudicates petitions.
