Hello,

We have been reading where some of you had to file a I-130 and I-129F. We are curious as to why you had to file them both.

1., We have sent in the Visa Papers on may 2 2006

I-130 (K3) with the I-765 and I-485 at the same time in Chicago

2., We have received our Receipts back on may 8 2006

3., We have to go to Atlanta on may 30 2006 and get his Fingerprints!

And maybe you can help us understand about the interview? What kind of questions will be asked, what will we need to take with us, etc?

Many thanks for the help.

Where are you both from? I would love it if I could save both money and time? Instead of waiting on 1 form at a time to come back. I dont know what the other forms you mention are for. Maybe different location? I am in chicago too, and I was going according to what the instructions say to do. How did you know to sedn those specific forms, and all at once. Yeah thats a good question, why both forms? I'VE BEN LOOKING AT THEM FOR DAYS NOW!!! Im actually waiting on my husbands G325-A forms to get here with his signature on them. What service center did you use? Not nebraska?

As you are saying 'we have to go to atlanta for the fingerprints' and from what you are describing, it is not for a K-3. K-3 etc are visas and as your wife/husband is by your post already in the US, they do not require a visa. It is 'adjusting status'. You would be best served in the AOS Forum.

Wishing you all the best.
