Uno, hope you got that pill down that cat

I can't, he wont let me...check it:

I told him "Euphrates, its time for your meds."

Then he looks at me and goes "meow."

I said "meow? What kinda answer is that!?"

To that he responded "meeowww!"

I told him; "I dont quite know what you're talking about, but the dr. said you have to take this so come here and take this pill!"

He looked at me, went upstairs and hasn't been down yet

...guess thats what he meant by "meeowww?!"

Uno, I think a lot of cats come home from the humane society sick. Even with a little kennel cold or whatever that's called. And the vet is HORRIBLE!! I tell my cat we're on a budget so he'd better eat well and exercise regularly cause we can't afford unexpected vet bills. I wish I could put him on my health insurance. NO, I'm not paying for pet insurance. I might as well pay the vet bill then!

Is it a pill or a liquid in a syringe? If it's a pill, hide it in his food. If it's a liquid in a syringe, hold him down and put it to the side of his mouth and shoot it in there. Damn kids cats!!

HELLO EVERYONE!!!!!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING AND BLESSINGS TO ALL!!!!!......... UNO good luck with getting the cat to take meds, my sister has a shitzu(Cashew) would you have guessed???? ...... the dog has allergies and has to take Benadryl....we kept him while she was on vacation, he liked cheese, so I was instructed to enclose half the pill in some chesse and roll it into a ball and give it to him.

yeah, she showed me, but at the time he had a fever and could not resist. he aint got no fever, so now he's being katty

Try hiding it in some food, that might work....

You might have to hold him and stick your finger down his throat....good luck with that

Hope everyone will have a happy and filling Thanksgiving. If you are traveling somewhere for dinner, where will it be? If you are going shopping early on black Friday, which store will you try to go to?

shopping, yeah, guess so, got kids = expecting gifts

what store....hmmmm, not many to choose from in this middle class corn field...ahem...suburb I live in: tarje', wally world, kohls and that group of stores they claim to be a mall

I crushed the pill and mixed with water.

Then I swaddled him and shot it in "Euphrates" mouth.

He wined a bit, but I dont care.

Uno was successful

I am making dinner for the 2 of us. My husband really wants turkey so I am making a turkey.

Going to go Black Friday shopping around 8am before work. We'll probably hit up Kohl's, Target and Best Buy.

Darn..... you work the day after Thanksgiving? Doesn't give much time to digest the turkey at all.

Today it will be just me my teenage son and my baby (she is 8) I am cooking a turkey and some other stuff too!! Pies are in the oven. I made cinn rolls for breakfast. Watching the parade....
