Oh Omoba, that sounds awful! It's good that he is doing better.

I hope that they have adequate antibiotics to prevent MRSA and such. I can only imagine the feeling of having a boil inside of the ear. I had one on my back once, and it was the worst pain....It was as if the darn thing had a mind of it's own. I'm a control-freak, and the fact that I could not control that little "bump-gone-wild" was too much. It hurt, it itched, it bled, it oozed guck, and when I thought it was over and healing, the darn thing started the same process all over again. Not to mention the fact that they can recur at any given time once the virus is in your system. Oh my...but it's been years since that happened (knock on wood).

I'm sorry to change the subject, but does anyone have the phone numbers to the police departments in Benin City, Nigeria? Or Lagos for that matter? thanks so much

According to Answers.com, the Lagos Police Department telephone number is +2347084513077

I could not find the Benin City number. By the way, I stayed in Benin city for a week last year. I enjoyed the "feel" of that area. We visited children at the Presidential Secondary School (can't remember the exact name, but very beautiful private boarding school).

Especially enjoyed the Chicken Republic restaurant. They had pizza on one side and chicken on the other. Hardly anyone ever bought pizza. We were there quite a lot. (Not that you asked anything about chicken, pizza or schools) :)

Thanks so much for the "chicken" advise, and also the phone number. It is 9:00 pm here, so it is 2 am there. There was an "unreachable" answer, but I thought that the PD is open 24-7. Again, thanks

Lois you still heading to Nigeria ? I will be heading there in less than a month.

So far, I have my tickets, but am having difficulty obtaining a visa because of the necessary documents that are needed to visit nigeria. My SO has been "detained" because he was trying to scan me the paperwork. They are claiming "fraudulent activities". I'm so ... who knows what!

He sure has his share of bad luck. What forms was he sending you . All I needed was the letter of invitation and photo copy of several passport pages . And those can even be emailed
