I want to stress that you will be going through verification with a DV lottery win as well. It is not as easy as winning a lottery ticket and jump on a

plane.

If you are accused down the road during your K1 or K3 interview of seeking benefits for immigration purposes only, then a DV does not look so good.

Careful, we are dealing with irrational CO's who throw a lot out there during interviews. I personally would not play the DV during this process.

We are not going through Europe folks ! Whatever we do will be very closely looked at and interpreted according to the CO and is definitely

not always correct.

just my .02 cents worth.

yes, you will be scrutinized, but for totally different reasons;

you will have to verify who you are,

who are the ppl you listed on your application (if any)

and do you meet the requirements for the dv lottery.

so far from what I have found the requirements are high school graduate,

minimum of 2 year work history,

and u.s. sponsorship.

also, one has to pay the visa fee along with other incidentals, i.e. physicals, background check and what have you.

the dv lottery only issues 10 year visas.

it makes no mention of what (from what I have found) about other stuff you may be dealing with in trying to leave your native country for perceived greener pastures.

and these visas are processed through:

the program is administered directly from the U.S. Department of State Kentucky Consular Center in Williamsburg, Kentucky. PLEASE NOTE: The Department of State has only one Kentucky Consular Center.

hopes this helps or gives food for thought.

True and they are dealing with an irrational and angry white woman. :ranting: I actually turned the interviewer in to DOD for attempted security violation. Hopefully it costs her the postition and she will be sent to the field office in no where USA cleaning toliets until she retires.

Marc Ellis responded and said go for it. Kind of the "we want to be together and are looking for the shortest LEGAL path " is the answer to immigration. There is nothing saying that a single person that wins a DV visa can't marry once he/she arrives. Now the chances of winning are slim. But he meets the education and fits into one of the required job areas. It is really unfair that men from Africa create such fear in our government that they go to these lengths to exclude them from immigrating. There are times I wish Joseph was a 20 yo filipino and he would have sailed right through. It is just so unfair that immigration caters to middle aged men and stiffs woman in the same group. ( sorry for the mini rant )

UNO have you ever concidered accupuncture?? I know it sounds crazy but I used to suffer from migraines, the pressure would be so bad at times it would bust blood vessels in my eyes, (lovely huh bloody eyes) I would totally be out of comission, NO lights NO sounds, NO movement, NO smells not nothing!! Anyway I found a great accupuncturist and he really made life easier for me. I will still get one from time to time but it is nothing like it used to be I can manage them now. Also have you looked into them being hormone related?? Too much estrogen can cause nasty headaches that can progress to migraines. Many of the foods we eat and lotions and creams that we use contain estrogen. Most people have no idea that they have hormone imbalances caused by foods the are eating or thier favorite lotion, ect, you get the idea.

Accupuncture needles are not like needles used for injections. Most of the time you dont even feel them. When you leave a session you feel so rejuvinated! :D

Ok Ok come on with the smart A$$ remarks..... I know they are coming.... B)

"P" I have considered cyclic cyanide injections if it will help  .

I have been getting them since puberty  ...ughhhh, who created that pubescent torture  ?

and they are hereditary. the only thing my dad ever gave me and its painful

but to answer your question, no accupuncture was not on my "to do" list.

kinda reminds me of being a voodoo doll

actually, don't really know much about its origins...have to investigate, but thanx for the alternative meds suggestion.
