Merry Christmas It is raining in southern California. I am cooking for my sons. Both prime rib and turkey as I missed Thanksgiving in Nigeria and they were "complaining" Joseph is spending the day packing to leave for his fathers funeral

Hola Sylvia,

Did I understand that you said you were in Nigeria for Thanksgiving and now your husband has to return for his father's funeral? If so, I'm sorry to hear that.

Take care

Thank you

His father died in August but due to family fighting the burial has been very delayed. The father was the ruler and there is a lot of things that have to be done for the burial and one brother took most of the funds. The funeral is the first weekend of Jan. It was supposed to be during my visit but that was not possible. Joseph is still in Nigeria , we don't have a visa yet which is a blessing in a way as tradition calls for him to stay in the villiage for a month after the burial as he is the next ruler.

Ok,

I was just confused how the two events, Thanksgiving and funeral, were related. That I do understand about the funeral bacchanalia and money needed for missing for xyz reasons. When my sister-in-law died, I got calls from everywhere telling me they were the official money collector yada yada and to send money. As I had understood, this was normal for families to do. If your in-law had more than one wife, then I guess we can triple the drama even more. Condolences from me and take care

and for your reading pleasure......

REMEMBER THIS AT CHRISTMAS TIME

According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and

female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer drop

their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to

mid-December.

Female reindeer retain their antlers till after they give birth in the

spring.

Therefore, according to EVERY historical rendition depicting Santa's

reindeer, EVERY single one of them, from Rudolph to Blitzen, had to be a

girl.

We should've known... ONLY women would be able to drag a fat-### man in a

red velvet suit all around the world in one night and not get lost.

I am all that the Potter created me to be.

I celebrate, liberate and dedicate my life to His Glory.

A bus stops and 2 men get on. They sit down and engage in an animated

conversation. The lady sitting next to them ignores them at first, but her attention is

galvanized when she hears one of them say the following:

"Emma come first.

Den I come.

Den two a$$es come together.

I come once-a-more! .

Two a$$es, dey come together again.

Den I come again and pee twice.

Den I come one lasta time."

The lady can't take this any more, "You foul-mouthed-sex-obsessed pig", she retorted indignantly. "In this country. We don't speak aloud in Public places about our sex lives."

"Hey, coola down lady", said the man.

"Whooda talkin' abouta sex? I'mma justa tellin' my frienda how to spell Mississippi!"

Good morning, everyone!

Nope, the Mukluks have not arrived yet and I'm gettin a bit antsy cos I need them NOW!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
