It snowed here all weekend. Poor Bassi is finally suffering from S.A.D. Well, I felt it was my duty to cheer him up! I luv bein married!!! Hee Hee! It's about 13 here and the wind is curaazzzzyyyy. Staying inside pretty much but have to brave the cold to come to work. Bassi is dying. He's wearing two pairs of pants and three shirts, a sweater and then a jacket under his leather coat. And it's not even REALLY winter yet. I hope he makes it. My mother told me she got pnuemonia her first year in the States. I'm hoping Bassi doesn't get that sick.

S.A.D ?????

Seasonal Affective Disorder

Thanks Uno. The weather and lack of sunshine starts making you feel down. We get it quite a bit in the northeast cause our winters can be very intense. Poor Bassi's coming from the land of sun, the Gold Coast to....well.....let's just say it ain't pretty.

Thanks WG. I didn't want to be the one to ask. Zainab, I heard that S.A.D. is pretty common in some parts of NY. Is that true?

Uno, that was sweet. :)

Oops, Zainab we were posting at the same time and you answered it for me.

Its frigidly cold here. Reminds me of my Iowa winters :crying:

I have no clue how hubby is handling it. Maybe I should ask

My Wish for the Subbies in 2009

May peace break into your house and may thieves come to steal your debts. May the pockets of your jeans become a magnet of $100 bills. May love stick to your face like Vaseline and may laughter assault your lips! May your clothes smell of success like smoking tires and may happiness slap you across the face and may your tears be that of joy. May the problems you had forget your home address! In simple words ............

May 2009 be the best year of your life!!!

ALL things work TOGETHER for GOOD!

Right now it is 48 in the Orlando area...I am freezing. I was born in Minnesota and lived there for years....in -20, but I guess I have adjusted to the Florida climate.

To Blessed to be stressed:) I realize that all things have a purpose and a time.....have faith and the Lord Almighty will provide... when the time is right, he NEVER fails!

Shoot, $495 sounds good. I've heard of those things costing $600+. :wow:

Yeah ....I was very shocked, also expensive to maintain $120.00 for re-tightening every four to six weeks or so I believe. Thinking about just putting it in braids for a while.

  @ "a thinsulated goose-down vest under an artic duck coat". I love how you make it sound so easy to put all of that ####### on. You can tell you live in cold weather because you mentioned some stuff that I haven't heard of before, lol.

One more thing.

I'm NOT a pansy!!!
