hi everyone,i recieve notice request initial evidence for my adjustment status,they need tax document from my husband,

I JUST WANT TO KNOW IF I NEED TO SEND ORIGINAL OR XEROX COPY ONLY?

A copy, always send in a copy, keep originals for your own records.

No such thing as an original ITR as it's sent in to IRS. Copies are all you can do. I guess you can send in a "original tax" transcript from IRS but they look like a copy anyway. Tax transcripts are "preferred".

hi thank you for reply,yes i send orig. federal income tax return when i sent package for adjustment status.then i got rfe and they need w-2 and 1099 to send ,WHAT THE TAX TRANSCRIPT?
