Hi Everyone!

I have been lurking around for a couple months. It's always nice to get to know people in similar circumstances, and the advice and support on this site is amazing.

We met in World of Warcraft. He has been here to see me 4 times now and things were amazing from the first moment I saw him. We have not filed for our K-1 yet, we are waiting for him to get all his debt cleared and save up some money, but we plan to file in December as soon as he is in the country for Christmas.

Who else here met in WoW? I would love to meet some other WoW couples. We raided together for over a year before becoming involved. I was healer lead for our 20 and 40 man raids on my Druid, and he was our Hunter puller. When BC came out, he switched his main to his feral druid, since now, feral druids could actually get groups and...OMG...Tank. What happened is he changed shifts at his job to second shift, and that meant we were always online at the same time, and ended up questing together a lot, bears and trees make excellent partners! Within a month, we were together and that was 15 months ago. We still raid together, and are just itching to get into Wrath of the Lich King.

The most amazing thing about us, is that we connected at all. The odds of us running into each other, in a game that millions of people play, are astronomical. Especially since he chose to play on a U.S server instead of a EU one, if not for that, I would never have met him. This journey is long, and it is so much harder than I expected it to be, but there is no way I am giving up on this once in a lifetime chance that found me. :wub:

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(
