....when it hurts to look back and you're scared to look ahead LOOK beside you and I'll be there.....

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore... and who always will.

So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

Some people get transferred to CSC. It's usually because your local office is way behind on applications. We're from NY also, and we got transferred last month. Usually, they will approve your GC without an interview.

The hidden underlying message is - most likely - your case didn't appear to warrant an interview so it was shipped out to CSC to be processed. (Keep in mind though - although rarely - some cases are booted back to their local office for interview. In all likelihood you'll end up adjudicated without interview.)

Or could it be that NYC office is still working on applications from over a year ago, so they transfer NYC k-1 cases to CSC?

Either way, it's good news.

Most likely...

Hey, if a case gets transfered, then can they assume that there are no RFEs?

Just wonderin',

I asked the same question a few weeks ago and I was told you can receive an RFE at anytime prior to approval.
