I thought we had to use some of the paperwork in the packet for our AOS?

If so how do I go about getting it now???

Hopefully, you kept copies of what you sent in at various stages. We have copies of everything and when putting our AOS/EAD/AP package together, we made additional copies of what they requested.

No j&m, you don't use any papers from the MBE (brown envelop) for AOS. I'll second BH45's "read guides".

Yes I know - but the guides can be a little confusing. I was just reading alot about vaccination records and things and assumed that you got some of the paperwork back for AOS. We have copies of pretty much everything except some of the stuff she sent back with the packet 3.

No, everything in the brown paper envelope - which is your total immigration paperwork file - is left at the POE. They forward it on to the USCIS office that has jurisdiction over where you live. When you file for AOS eventually the files 'match up'. For AOS you will need to have proof of the vaccinations you have had done. Most panel physicians provide you with a photocopy of their vaccination worksheet that is submitted with the medical. If yours didn't, then you can the same proof of vaccinations that you would have used at the medical to show the vaccinations you have had and take those to a civil surgeon in your area for transfer to the I-693. That document is then submitted with the AOS. If all of your vaccinations were already completed by the time of the medical you can take the risk of not submitting the I-693 with the AOS on the understanding that they may request it from you in an RFE.

yea. The initial address on the paperwork was the old address in Illinois. The address Mary put on the POE paperwork was her Ontario address.

Is there an office in Milwaukee? Otherwise we'd be going to Chicago

Edit: Mary doesn't recall all the paperwork. It was a little hectic. She waited for an hour in teir 2 immigration.

I called USCIS and the lady was super nice. She said congratulations a bunch of times.

Just to make sure the address is correct we'll file a AR-11 with DHS. And we'll fix all the address stuff with the AOS filing.

I just hope that the paperwork doesnt get lost from Chicago to Milwaukee - I'd rather interview down there than to have a delayed interview in Milwaukee.
