My husband's biometrics appointment for both AOS & EAD is next Wednesday at 8:00am in Orlando. Does anyone have any experiences from this office? How long do these appointments usually take? Should we bring some snacks or expect to eat lunch in Orlando?

Just curious for you fellow Floridians. :D

My wife just had hers yesterday in Orlando.

Finding the building is a little bit of pain, because it is way in the back, even though the address says Semoran Blvd. I made a turn at the light where McDonalds is, and made a left into the office complex, and drove straight and the office was on the left.

My wife's appointment was at 11:00, and we arrived there at 10:50. There wasn't too many people there and we were out of there by 11:20. I have heard that if you have an earlier appointment, it can take a little longer, because it is more crowded.

Once you arrive, you will fill out a form and then hand it to security officer. He asks the person getting the fingerprints taken to sit in one room and asks the visitors to go to a side room. Then an immigration officer will stamp your appointment letter give you a number card, and then you will go wait in the side room with the rest of the vistors. Then the lady will call your number and you will go and get the biometrics done. Overall, the process was really simple and no hangups.

Be sure to take your marriage certificate with you if your identification has your maiden name listed and you have applied using your married name.

Best wishes
