:lol: i liked this thread. I don't think men are capable to put the toilet seat down, if you see it down it's either because he didn't use the bathroom or he touched it by mistake and the toilet seat fell :P

In typical when in Rome do as Romans do, my hubby does not turn of the shower from the bottom (you know, the faucet) he turns it off from the top (the shower) and when I go to shower if I don't look, I turn it on and get drenched unexpectedly. I hate that....I like to let teh water get warm from the faucet and THEN switch to shower mode. You ladies get me???

On a good note, I can always tell when he's showered.....if he did not, then the knobs are as I left them. Lucky for him, he's clean and likes to shower. But how long before he becomes americanized and starts to smell an scratch....down there??? I am scurred! :help:

Okay shhh don't you gals go spreading this to certain post, because it might ruin my "American Woman" reputation. We wouldn't want the others finding out that I notice and appreciate the little things my hubby does for me.

The first time I witnessed my husband cleaning off the rim of the toilet, closing the lid, flushing and then proceeding to the sink to wash his hands, I must admit I thought it was a big fat bunch of hawg wash trying to just reel me in! Three years later he still does this consistently, and it is much appreciated! What is even better is when he has taken several of our SIX boys in to the bathroom and demonstrated this process. Sighhhhh I love that man!

Liefde is een bloem zo teer dat hij knakt bij de minste aanraking en zo sterk dat niets zijn groei in de weg staat

IK HOU VAN JOU, MARK

.png

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

Boy! I love this thread too.

Point counter- point

Here's where many American men are coming from I guess ;)

http://www.nomarriage.com/faq.html#personal

enjoy

Couldn't agree more!!! :lol::thumbs::yes:

A modern western woman is fine for a short-term relationship (particularly if it's mostly focused on sex). The problems start after marriage, particularly after you have children. A modern western woman is raised to become an awful wife. Nothing can be done about it; the problems are in her head and they are 100% incurable and only get worse the more you are with her.

Heh heh... you guys crack me up.

But seriously... what's the big deal about putting the seat down? Would someone please explain that to me?

Scenario:

It is 3 am on a cold winters night. You clumsily make your way to the bathroom, half asleep. You go to have a sit down, when you suddenly realise the toilet is atleast an inch shorter than it should be, by then it is to late to catch yourself and "KA PLONK".

And what happens if the lid is down as well?!!! :o You spray all over yourself and the lid?! Bwahahahaha

Tracy, you're going to have to be veddy veddy careful when your man gets here. It is highly possible that his safe and courteous London cabbie driving skills could be corrupted by American male drivers careening about in LandRovers and Hummers..........

God rest that darling womans soul, she created the perfect man as far as I am concerned. Maybe she knew in his future he would marry some corrupted lazy good for nothing American gal, that would constantly whine about the toilet seat being left up.
