I have been trying to call USCIS to get an update on our case but everytime I call I keep holding for ten minutes listening to automated messages and then finally it says that no one is available and call at some other time and they hang up! I am really frustrated about that...I am calling this no. 1-800-375-5283...isn't this the no. u are supposed to call? we got our NOA1 for I-129F on Feb.13th and we still havn'et gotten the NOA2 yet and I would like to know what's going on...Any suggestions on how to contact them (apart from online case status check that we do a million times everday!)? thanks

Thanks,

Kiny

Hi

I had the same problem last week I tried calling around 5 times that day..I kept choosing the

option to change my address. It kept saying that everyone was busy to try again later then it

would hang up on me..I called back and tried the option that says push this number if there was

a typo on your notice..And sure enough about 10-15 min later a lady answered the phone and

was very nice in answering my question. You might want to try that.I don't know if it will work

again, but it did for me..GOOD LUCK TO YOU.

Michelle

kiny,

The USCIS National Customer [Dis]Service Center does not have any more information on your case than you can see yourself with the Online Status.

Hi, try to call them on Wednesday, I think it is the best day for them, I did call them about 4-5 times, every time I got to the person. My first time I called on Wednesday, it took only 10-15 minutes and the person I talked to was very nice but the rest of my calls were terrible and useless. And my Friday call took about almost one hour, but that person gave me a referral number, which is also useless, because I still haven't gotten anything yet since then(after 120 days from the date I filed(even EAD approval)). Good Luck. Glad to share my experience.
