Any idea how to word a cover letter to a recruitment agency when you are EAD Pending?

I am trying to plan ahead and I'm going to send out some resumes to some local recruitment agencies. I'm not sure how I go about explaining the fact that I am waiting on EAD authorisation and should be avaliable to work by mid July. Do I explain my situation in detail (i.e. the K1 visa and AOS) or do I only mention that I am awaiting EAD authorisation and the date when I should be able to work? Also when do I mention this?

Any advice or examples of cover letters you have sent out would be awesome! My aim is to get a job lined up ready for my EAD, I'm so done with being a lady of leisure!

All they need to know is when you will be available for work. You can tell them that you expect to receive your EAD soon, and would be ready to start sometime in July. Good luck on your job search!

"I am anticipating receiving work authorisation in the month of XXXXX, and would be grateful if you could keep me in mind for any positions opening at that time."

That would be my method of choice, I think.

I agree. Name me 5 employers who know what an EAD is.. you'll just baffle their tiny little minds.
